Update on MISS HARPS

Harper is my fun, loving, hard 3 year old!  She has the same personality as me, its her way or the highway lol  She is the first one to come cuddle with me and LOVES her baby sister.  Then she also knows just how to push everyone's buttons.. but that's what being 3 is all about right?!

She is in preschool and LOVES it so much.. so much in fact that she asks every single day if she has school.  Her teacher, Ms. Payne tells me every time I pick her up that Harper is such a sweet little girl and she just loves her.  She helps her teacher clean up and is the best listener :).  I love picking her up from school because she is always so proud and excited to show me what she did that day!  Her excitement is priceless.

Harper is in a ballet class with a group of girls her age from the neighborhood.  She is having so much fun and shows off her new ballet positions every time.  I love watching her create friendships and independence on her own.  Last week in class she received a bracelet for being the best dancer and best listener.

Harper has the big sister calling without a doubt.  She is always wanting to hold Abigail, babysits her while I take showers, and plays with her all the time!  Harper will be the best Mother one day :)

One afternoon I was sitting down in the Kitchen with Kinsey doing homework.  Harper yelled for me to come help and that something was stuck.  So I got up and went to assess.  I walked in to this and immediately started laughing!  I had to run back to my kitchen to grab my phone and take a video of course.  I dont know how or even why she put this over her head, but I was laughing so hard I had tears.  She didnt think it was very funny lol!  I even sent the video in to AFV so cross your fingers we win something!  I promised her a Disney Cruise if she wins ;)

Update on BEANS

Here is a quick update on Kinsey and her personality plus!  I am so lucky to be this girl's mom.. There is never a dull moment and she brightens everyone's day with how outgoing and fun she is.

We have struggled finding an activity for her to start.. She went to 3 different dance classes before we found out she LOVES hip-hop and finally found a team for her to join.  She is now a part of the Inspire Dance Studio family on their Tiny Company team.  They do competitions and performances and she is loving it!  Kinsey is so upbeat and needed to move faster than ballet so this class is perfect for her.  They do ballet and lyrical on Tuesdays, then hip-hop and jazz on Thursdays.  I feel like I need to pick up a second job or a small loan to pay for it all, but she is enjoying it so it makes it all worth it.

Kinsey is loving life as a SUPER sister and is such an amazing help!  She changes diapers, calms down Abigail when she is crying, and runs to grab things for me whenever I ask without hesitation.  Like I said, I am so lucky to be this girl's mom!

Kindergarten has been a lot of fun for her so far.  She has grown so much academically, I am shocked!  She was smart before, but now she seems like a little woman with all her new knowledge.  I help out on Friday's in her class and I am so proud of her.  She knows almost everyone's name and is friends with everybody!  Watching her interact with her classmates makes me so proud because she is very outgoing and friendly with everyone.

I had a rough few days recovering from my delivery.. This girl appeared at the side of my bed with this.. and I about died laughing!  She knows just how to cheer someone up lol

She worked so hard for 3 days to blow a bubble.. and she was so proud when she finally did!! Hard work pays off :)

Abigail is ONE month!I

Time is flying on by and my baby girl is already a month old.. I wish there was a magic pill or way to make them stay little forever.  Brandon and I were looking through pictures and realized how much she has changed and how she is getting little chubby legs, arms and cheeks!  Here are some things about her:

She sleeps in my bed... next to me all night.  I know they say to avoid co-sleeping, BUT she is my last baby and I want to, so I will :)

Her sisters are her favorite and she calms down so fast with their attention.  She really likes to lay down on the ground next to them playing.  They already have a "sister" bond and, to be honest, I am a little jealous!

She eats like a champ every 2.5-3 hours, on.the.dot during the day.  Then at night she eats every 3-4 hours.  Call me crazy, but I am in no rush to get her to sleep through the night.  It is the only time I get to nurse her without noise or distractions from big sisters ;)

Her first "real" smile was on October 6th when I was talking to her.  We have to really work to get her to smile and not give us funny faces back lol!

She is now wearing size 1 diapers (sniff, sniff).. But can still fit into most newborn clothes!

Abigail's acid reflux is doing SOOO much better.  She only pukes on us maybe 1x a day instead of 50x a day lol!  We have discovered that if we limit her feeding time, she does so much better.  So we do smaller meals which often means she eats more frequently but I am a-ok with that!  Her pediatrician didnt want to put her on any acid reducing meds until she started to show signs of loosing weight.  He informed us that the side effects can sometimes be worse than the benefits so we decided to wait, and I am glad we did.  She has visibly gained weight so I'd say we are doing GREAT!  I have also had to give up on some of my favorite things.. Like caffeine (she does ok if I do small amounts thank goodness!), chocolate, spicy foods, anything red, and I think that is it for now ha!

Her next doctor appointment is when she is 2 months old so we will get a weight and her growth facts then :)

We love you ABI-girl, and so glad you chose this crazy family to be a part of :)

Abigail's Photo Shoot

While in the hospital I was informed they no longer have a photographer come around to take pictures.  I was devastated! Thankfully our family photographer was available to come to our home and take pictures last minute.  I am so thankful for her and these photos, they show how much Kinsey and Harper love Abigail and each other.  Plus they show how stinking cute my kiddos are :)

I was not planning on being in these pictures.. but I'm glad Brandon and Alex talked me into it!
